Maddy I love everything on this album, it's impossible to pick a favourite. I was sold on the first track within 30 seconds, though, so maybe that's my default fave... but the second track also jumps out at me, so it's really hard to say!

Tod Dockstader called his era of composition ‘this new art of sound, a very democratic art’. He disliked the exclusivity applied to composition in both sound and visual art.

An instrument becomes part of what it helps to create, as important as the creation itself. Addition and reduction can change and improve composition.

We gave friends carte blanche to work on a track to create something new and interesting. Original tracks have been stripped back to basic elements, treated electronically or added to as the contributor saw fit.
This compilation is the result.
